Walk a Mile in Their Shoes 5K

Walk a Mile in Their Shoes is a 5K Walk/Run to benefit persecuted, displaced Christians in the Middle East, who literally have to walk hundreds of miles to find safety. All proceeds will be donated to Open Doors, a charity that provides relief for persecuted Christians, including Gospel development, women and children advancement, and Christian community restoration.
Our names are Elise Taylor and Sage Glidewell, and we are two teenage girls from Charleston, South Carolina, who have been moved by the tragedies happening to our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world. Last year, we put on a race that benefited a charity called Neighbor to Family, helping place kids in stable foster homes with their siblings. This year, we felt specifically challenged to raise money for Christians around the world, who share our faith, but are being persecuted for it.
The funds that we raise will be matched by a donor up to $5,000!
