Help Me Achieve My Volleyball Dream

Donation protected
As many of you know, I have been playing volleyball for a while now.  I recently attended the try-outs for one of the best and most competitive volleyball club teams in Southern California (last year they ranked top 9% nationally).  At the tryout, I was extremely nervous.  I honestly thought I was not going to make the team. However, two of the coaches asked me to stay after to talk. They immediately offered me a spot on the team and told me I have the potential to become one of the best middle blockers in the league and as long as I am willing to work and push myself, they will help me get to the next level.  Many of the girls in the club are recruited to D1 Universities or D3 Ivy League Schools on full scholarships.  A lot of my teammates have already verbally committed to schools such as UNLV, Stanford, Wake Forest and UCLA to name a few.

Being chosen for this team has motivated me to dig deeper and work harder to become an elite athlete. This club would give me the opportunity to play in an extremely competitive league and take my game to the next level.

While that is what really attracted me to this team, there is a major challenge. The price.  When I learned more information about the team and their travel schedule, I realized that this would be an enormous sacrifice for my whole family, not just money but, also time.

It is my desire to compete at the collegiate level.  Joining this team would be a huge opportunity to gain exposure to some of the top college recruiters.  I understand the commitment this will take and I am willing to push myself to make it happen.

So, I am asking you to please help me achieve this goal. It would mean the world to me and my family.

The total cost for this season (including travel, room and board, dues, and uniform) is $6,000 and is due by September 30th. No donation is too small.  Any amount helps. If you are unable to contribute monetarily, I ask that you send your love and positive vibes as well as share this page with your family, friends and extended network and encourage them to help me take advantage of this great opportunity.

All my best,
Anaya
