Vicente Alvarez's Appreciation Fund

A little over a year ago, Vicente Alvarez was involved in an unfortunate accident at the Fairfax Community Church. He was on a ladder removing duct work and had a horrible fall and fractured his skull, broke his ribs, collar bone, and fingers. The broken bones have healed since then, but unfortunately, the effects of his fractured skull is still a daily struggle for our co-worker. 

Vicente's brain injury caused him to lose speech and gross & fine motor skills.
Thanks to daily physical and speech therapy, Vicente is gaining these skills back, but he still has more work to do to gain all of his abilities back.

Vicente has been with SLC for 10+ years, and last year away from work has lowered his morale and spirit. 

SLC wants to give him a small token of appreciation and show him that he is still in our thoughts and prayers.
