Who we are
The Armed Forces Motorsports Foundation (AFMF) is a veteran owned federally certified 501 (c)3 non-profit organization. We advocate on behalf of all military veterans and their families, through our pro-active outreach efforts.
We project that we’ll help more than 70,000 veterans in 2015, and hundreds of thousands more in the coming years - directly, through our Veterans’ Resource Summit program and our Vets on Track Project. We plan to increase public awareness, educate our veterans on real issues affecting their lives, and through our motorsports platform, we will work with communities that we race in to collect and distribute household items to veterans in need.
Programs and Services
Through the “Drive 4 Vets” Outreach Programs, we connect past and present service members and their families to needed resources through our Veterans Resource Summits, and help tackle veteran homelessness through the collection of household items through our Vets on Track Program.
Community Give Fundraising Vision
What will we do with the money raised? The money raised from our GoFundMe Campaign will be used to host a Veterans’ Resource Summit, connecting Veterans and their families with much needed resources. Through our “Drive 4 Vets” Community Outreach Programs, AFMF will deliver the support our veterans need…right in their own backyard! Through special partnerships with local, state and federal government agencies and non-profit partners, the AFMF will address some of the most critical issues facing our veterans and their families. Additionally, we will help reunite veterans with their communities all across the country; and create an open referral network system within non-profits and veteran support organizations so that by working together, we can deliver support when and where it’s needed.
Where we come from
Armed Forces Motorsports Foundation was started by a retired Marine, with twenty-two years of service, and his teenage daughter. The two collaborated together and decided they wanted to help make a difference, since they both saw a lack in connecting Veterans with the services they need.
