Veterinary Bill for Daisy

Miss Daisy was found wondering as a lost soul on Thursday 3.27.14. The nice woman who found her was leaving town for the weekend so brought her to Clairmont Animal Hospital for boarding. I was called to see if I could help find a rescue if her owners were not found. Today 3.30.14 I went to take Miss Daisy for a walk and get to know her a bit. After about 30 minutes of walking she began having trouble breathing and then nearly collapsed. I asked a complete stranger for a ride to the vet because I knew she wouldn't have been able to make it back herself. When we arrived her temperature was 106 degrees. After being stabilized, we took her to Saint Francis emergency specialist vet where she will spend the night and be monitored. They discovered a heart murmur and need to do an endoscopy to see about her larynx and trachea. The chest xray looked good and she is heartworm negative. She also needs to have some teeth pulled that are pockets for infections. Eventually we will need to spay her to. So far, no owner has come forward and so we will be looking for a good home for her. In the meantime vet bills are mounting and we need to find out why she has difficulties breathing. Please help us pay for her proceedures so Daisy can have a sweet life :)
