The more I share, the more I am finding out, that many have not yet heard that I was in a car accident on June 19th, 2013 while exiting the 210 freeway in Rancho Cucamonga. I was struck on my driver's side by someone who ran a red light in their SUV. I remember yelling out "WHOAH" when barely out of the corner of my eye I saw headlights flying into my car. 
After impact, her engine was screaming at my door in high revs as if her gas pedal was stuck in neutral...all along her headlight was beaming in my face. The smell of radiator fumes and mist begin to rise and fill my car as my first thoughts were "OK I'm in an accident...Thank God my son and my wife are not in the car...and I'm not dead". Fast forward... after witnesses, police, fire truck, paramedics, my wife and nearby friends came, thankfully I was able to climb out the passenger side and "walk away". Though the whole left side of my body hit the door, what was injured most was my brain as I suffered head trauma and concussion when my head slammed against the door window divider where the seat belt comes out.
My car was totaled.... which was a whole other process, but not nearly as important as my taking care of my injuries. The concussion and head trauma drastically affected my memory, attention, focus, concentration, planning, organization and verbalizing my thoughts (I would often lose my train of thought in mid sentence- ask RaShawna). I have had to carry around a small memo pad to take notes, remember conversations, simple tasks and schedules. The week long detailed and thorough testing and scanning at the Amen Clinic in Newport revealed that with my brain injury, the more I try to focus and concentrate, the less I am able to do so!

The urgent and necessary doctor visits, examinations, x-rays, brain scans, brain and body injury treatments, travel and rescheduling of events/studio bookings have taken a financial toll on my family as I am the main breadwinner of our household and currently we do not have medical insurance. Though my dad and other family and close friends have helped (thank you!), my out of pocket expenses related to the accident have currently been well over $4,500 and has depleted our personal resources. In order for me to fully recover further treatments and examinations are still necessary for the next few months including the daily Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber treatment (highly effective for the brain healing process from head trauma) which will cost over $10,000 in itself!

Though you all know I prefer to be on the giving side, I'm in the position of needing help. So hence, I am reaching out to my fans, friends and family asking for your help of a minimum amount of $25 if at all possible, towards our goal of $10,000 (400 people x $25=$10,000) to cover the immediate and upcoming out of pocket expenses in the interim while waiting for insurance claims and settlements to finalize (possibly months to a year later).
