Helping Vanessa Ryan

WDEZ radio personality, Vanessa Ryan, was diagnosed with a severe rare life-threatening allergic reaction to a medication. After numerous Emergency Room visits, Vanessa was treated at two different hospitals for over a week, went into anaphylactic shock and spent time in the Intensive Care Unit. It's going to be a long road to recovery, she will be dealing with side effects for a long time to come, so prayers for strength and your generosity are appreciated greatly!

Vanessa has one of the biggest hearts of any person I've ever met. She has worked tirelessly for many years to help raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. When she discovers somebody in need--she literally gives until it hurts . This last December we had a family come to us during our 12 Homes of Christmas that we didn't have room to help, Vanessa took it upon herself to supply this young family with everything they needed to have a very special and Merry Christmas. There are many similar stories I could share with you about her, but right now it's our turn to step up and help Vanessa.
