Dear Friends and Family,

I am writing in hopes of raising funds in the amount of $5000.00 by November 30th, needed for expenses involved in presenting an evening of spiritually uplifting works for our 10th year anniversary performance and the completion and performance of the new ballet I am choreographing. Funds will help cover theater rental, rehearsal space, seven dancers' rehearsal and performance stipends, and technical and administrative costs.

VISIONS Contemporary Ballet will be presenting its 10th year anniversary performance at Dixon Place in New York City on December 7, 2017. 

As a recent brain cancer survivor I have even more of a story to share through my work! My new ballet is inspired by my journey which many can relate to called "Through the Valley." This piece explores facing obstacles in one’s fight for health and life.

This ballet depicts the moments in one's life while going through a testing or challenging time, such as a physical or mental crisis. Although our experiences may differ, we can all relate to others’ life challenges. I am sure audiences will enjoy it.

VISIONS Contemporary is committed to presenting spiritually uplifting, inspirational contemporary ballet works which explore the human experience in artistically excellent concert dance performances to a wide range of communities. We were recently presented in Fast Forward at Dixon Place on November 21, 2017, by the American Cancer Society at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in support of breast cancer awareness at Central Park 72nd Street Bandshell on October 15, 2017 and by the Harlem Arts Festival at the Amphitheater in Marcus Garvey Park on June 24, 2017.

I hope you can help me complete this new ballet and present our 10th year anniversary concert performance by making a donation of any size.  We are looking to raise funds in the amount of $5000.00 by November 30, 2017. Every donation helps--$5, $10, $25, or more.

I am so thankful to have friends and family such as you who can help me make my dream of presenting an evening of uplifting works to audiences reflecting 10 years of creating inspirational dances with VISIONS Contemporary Ballet.
