"On March 24, the kids and families of March For Our Lives will take to the streets of Washington DC to demand that their lives and safety become a priority and that we end gun violence and mass shootings in our schools today. March with us."
We are hosting a sister march, taking place on March 24th in Vernon Hills, Illinois. We are planning for a large, successful March, but we need your help. Our event is being planned, organized and executed by a group of community members - moms, dads, teachers (working and retired), high school students, etc - all of which are volunteers and not affiliated with a larger organization.
Your monetary assistance will help with operational and logistical costs associated with the March. In the event that we receive more funds than needed or the event needs to be cancelled, all monies will then be donated to the Victims Fund, created by the Broward Education Foundation to provide relief and financial support to the victims and families of the horrific shooting in Parkland, Florida.
