Hello Family and Friends,
I am excited to announce that I recently started a digital series called Up Next. The series highlights up-and-coming artists, including musicians, bands, actors, viral sensations and other talents from around the country. Go to the KorneliusBTV playlist on my YouTube channel to check out the latest episodes. We post new content every 2nd and 4th Thursday each month, so keep checking back!
My management team and I have approached major networks that like this concept for their digital platform, but they want to see more!
In an effort to take Up Next to the next level, I need your help. In the current social media driven culture, the Up Next team is in a position where we can independently create and distribute our own content. However, one of the most important factors driving our success is the quality and production value of what we're actually creating. In saying this, I am humbly asking for your donations to help support this project.
Below highlights a list of items your donation will help fund:
· Mid-level professional video and sound equipment
· Editing assistance
· Website and graphics development
· Marketing
All donations will go towards the improvement of the Up Next series and related endeavors. Upon receiving your support I’ll be sending out monthly newsletters, which will consist of updates about new episodes and equipment purchases!
For those who are not familiar with me, I truly believe that entertainment is an important part of our culture that evokes emotions, thoughts and conversation that encourages us to challenge traditional ways of thinking. In 2014, I was voted in the Top 4 of VH1's "Big Morning Buzz Live” - Social Buzz Reporter. Also, in 2014, I had the opportunity to be a guest in-arena host for the NBA team, Phoenix Suns.
In between competitions, I have been working extremely hard to become a well-versed television personality and emcee. Since 2012, I have served as Host and Decoy Actor on the award-winning CBS Show Undercover Boss. Other accomplishments include being a top contestant in Oprah Winfrey Network’s (OWN) “Your Own Show” competition where I garnered 5.9 million votes worldwide, placing 4th in the competition. I was also host of Time Warner Cable’s first original talk show series, Born To Shine, where I interviewed celebrities like Mekhi Phifer, Estelle and writer/director Robert Townsend.
In the last couple years, I have actively worked to improve my craft, and am in tune with the potential I possess. I believe that my purpose is one where I can use my talents and abilities to give back and help others realize they too can fulfill their dreams. In order to turn my dreams into a reality, I believe that I must persevere, excel and have faith in everything that I do; sometimes we just need a jumpstart to get the momentum going!
With your help and support in conjunction with my talent as a rising television personality, we can work to help others who are talented showcase their skills in their perspective industries. There are so many incredibly talented artists out there that deserve to be recognized. In the end, that is the heart of our show; to help up-and-coming artists get national exposure.
