Unyielding to Cancer
Donation protected
Crossfit Unyielding in Covington, GA has two very dedicated athletes that have relatives that are in a battle with Cancer. We are going to put together a fundraising event August 9th 2014 for these two fighters, and would love for everyone to help out. The following is a short bio on each one of the cancer fighters.
Hank Dunn from Conyers Ga. Father of three and a loving husband. Dedicated to his family and christ. Recently found out has stage 4 cancer and there is nothing they can do. He's the type of guy who would give you the shirt off his back or bend over backwards so that you would have what you needed. He is a great man and even though he's going through this he would still give you the shirt off his back.
Lisa Baker grew up here in Covington. She married her childhood best friend (literally since the age of 12), Doyle. Lisa and Doyle have three beautiful children, Jack (7), Vivian (2), Brick (9 mos).
April 17, 2014, the day before her 35th birthday Lisa was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. She has multiple rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, double mastectomy and reconstruction surgery ahead of her. If you have spent any time at all with Lisa you will immediately feel like you have known her your whole life. Her warm, friendly personality along with her witty humor will have you laughing. Even if it is about her cancer. She is in the fight of her life and she is fighting fierce!
