Uncle Philip's rehab

Donation protected
We are raising money to help Philip Jones, who fell 15 feet off a ladder onto frozen ground, breaking ribs and vertbrae, and severing his spinal cord. He has had two surgeries so far. His spine is cemented, screwed and has a metal rod to repair his injuries. He recently emerged from the ICU and is beginning to speak again. He will require months of physical therapy, and will be in a wheelchair for life.

Being a carpenter for over 40 years, he will never be able to work his craft again. With this sudden loss of income, we need help to keep up with the necessities of life- rent, utilities, gas, food and such- and to pay medical bills that insurance does not cover.

Phil is an amazing man, literally the guy who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He raised three children and, at present, he and his wife, Penny,  are raising four grandchildren, three of which are still school aged. He's accepted anything life can throw at him with positive determination, love of family, selflessness and always a sense of humor.

While he faces an arduous journey, Phil is resilient. If any man can overcome the physical, emotional and mental challenges ahead, he can. His family, friends and co-workers ask you for your prayers and support.
