Hello there!
My name is Carlin Huegli and as a collegiate athlete at the University of Central Florida, I am in my second year of eligibility playing soccer for a Division 1 college ranked top 20 nationally. With my commitment to my education along with representing UCF through their women's soccer program, I have been selected to participate in the "Knights Without Borders" Program.
"Knights Without Borders" offers an opportunity for UCF student-athletes to travel abroad with fellow teammates, peers, and former student athletes for a service-learning project. One of the requirements for me to participate is to fundraise the needed money for this mission trip.
My goal is to raise $2500 by May 1, 2016 "For it is in giving that we receive" by St. Francis of Assisi.
As ambassadors for UCF, our group will travel to St. Vincent and the Grenadines for a week this coming May to provide and help a community in need. We will be replacing a roof on a library on one of the islands in St. Vincent called Bequia. We will also be teaching the children of St. Vincent & The Grenadines about our sport and the importance of education. Will you please help me help others? No amount is too small.
