I’m quite sure this young man is the prototype for the new awesome human being. He generates more fun and goodwill in his 10 year old self than I’ve ever seen in one person. He’s the life of every neighborhood he’s ever lived in, every team he’s ever been on, every dance floor he’s ever strutted on.
He’s fast friends with all ages, color, shapes, sizes. I vote for Tzuri.
He’s a bridge-builder and a heart-mender and a peace-bringer.
His cowboy boots are a proud, scuffed badge of relentless play and ruthless bike racing.
He weaves wordplay and wisdom in a way that’ll drop your lower jaw from your upper, and leave you scratching your head at the little smiling buddha in your midst.
His hugs will make you feel like you won the lottery. Lump sum cash payouts every dang time.
He’s so fantastically super human that sometimes I forget he’s human. And he is. He bleeds red and he just bled a whole lotta red due to an unfortunate run-in with a barbed wire fence. And had to get a whole lotta stitches in that sunshine of a precious face that lights up so many lives. And stitches cost a whole lotta money in this system we’re living in. And now I’m asking for a whole lotta help from the good people of the world to help this family of 6 support this young man on his path of mending.
