Nicaraguan Internship- El Puente

This past summer through Global X, the church I call home (Athens Church), and the generosity of my friends and family I was able to spend a week in Granada, Nicaragua doing missions with a Granada based church, El Puente (it translates to The Bridge). Throughout that week we took part in many ministries from children’s to even a prison ministry and my eyes were opened to something I had never fully experienced or seen before. It was the purest and most honest joy and prosperity I had ever imagined. People living in poverty unheard of in American were filled to the brim with hope and trust in God. Experiencing a week with these people changed my perspective on so much and showed me that nothing is greater than the love, grace, and forgiveness of God. Something I had struggled with as a sinner feeling less than qualified to follow, much less lead.

With these realizations along with many more I’ve been led and blessed with the opportunity to serve again this summer, but instead as an intern for 2 months. All I ask of those willing is to partner with me in any way you feel comfortable. Currently all I’m asking is for prayers, sharing my link, and if you feel led, monetary partnership through donations to make this trip a possibility. We plan to head south on June 3rd and I could use every bit of partnership that I can get.
