Tyler Carl Benefit Page

On November 16, 2013 Greenup Illinois resident, Tyler Carl (age 25) was brutally beaten and left for dead. Tyler suffered over 40 facial and skull fractures, a traumatic brain injury with bleeding on the brain, and spent a considerable amount of time in Carle Foundation Hospital where the left side of his face had to be reconstructed. His cheek, jaw, eye socket and upper mouth had to be rebuilt and are being held together with plates and screws. He is still in need of extensive dental work and may need to have another surgery to repair his jaw, which is not lining up quite right. Tyler suffers from severe headaches, crippling daily nausea, psychological issues from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and struggles daily to get the nutrition her needs to heal and survive. He is thin and frail and needs our help! Tyler is unable to work and had to drop out of college where he was working toward a degree in network administration.
