TWO Broken Legs- But Heart of Gold

This boy was abandoned at my work. With both front legs broken, there's no way he walked all the way out to the Superstition Mountains and made it to the door of the ranger station on his own. He has been so sweet and did not wince even once while we helped him. The injuries are probably a week old. I could not take him to animal control because I know what would happen with such significant issues.
We found a vet to evaluate. She said clean breaks, but surgery with plates needed. Cost is about $5,000. We don't like asking for help if we're not willing to do our part, so we are only looking to the generousity of others for half. Anything over $2,500 will be donated.
He's about a year old (no chip) and we are already in love with him. If you would like to help, it is greatly appreciated. We are still thinking up a name but have it narrowed down and will decide in the next day or so. Thank you everyone for your kindness and love.
