Toni Harris also known as the Turn Around Queen has had a drastic setback. Tuesday, December 9th, Toni was rushed to the emergency room with intense stomach pain. No one knew this was going to be the beginning of the hardest journey she has yet to face.
Turns out she had an internal hernia in her intestines that caused the bowels to get tangled together. The surgery went well, but when they untangled the intestines and the bowel it released all the bad toxins that had built up in that area. Toni was put on a ventilator under heavy sedation. We are not sure how long she will be in this condition but we do know this is the beginning of a long process. The doctors say after she is somewhat better she will have to be moved to a rehabilitation center where she will have to learn how to breath, walk, and eat again.
Many of you have asked how you can help, and this is how. We thank you all for their continuous thoughts and prayers.
All proceeds raised will go toward helping Toni with her medical bills and other expenses incurred due to the surgery. She has already been in ICU for 10 days and we are not sure how much longer she will be here before rehab.
