Help 3rd Street Clayworks Relocate

Notice to all lovers of the arts, pottery, and specifically, 3rd Street Clayworks in Tulsa. Clayworks is going to have to move by the end of June. If you've ever been to Clayworks, you know that it will be a monumental task, at the very least. Jeff Wells, artist, instructor, owner of Clayworks, and friend to all who enter there, is in the process of looking for a new home, but we all know that any kind of relocation takes $. Relocating Clayworks studio and gallery will take $$$. Jeff will have down time during the relocation and not teaching means no income. It will take a lot of muscle and a considerable amount of dedication, but there are so many people who know of the good vibes and heart-warming community of people at Clayworks - I know you will all want to help, in whatever way you can!

Clayworks is an important part of Tulsa's art community, and its followers, students and friends can help make this move happen. Please see our "Wish List". They made me enter a dollar amount, but these items and actions can be donated in-kind. Know someone who just moved? Snag their empty boxes and packing materials. Have a truck or trailer? Show up at Clayworks on dates to be announced and help transport stuff. Have an couple of extra bucks when you're at Walmart? Buy a roll of good packing tape and drop it off at the studio. Save your newspapers and packing materials from those online purchases.
