Everything lost in Santa Rosa Tubbs fire.

At approximately 1:00am on Sunday 10-08-17, my brothers family was woke by neighbors knocking on doors. People smelled smoke, saw a fire coming and did their best to notify all neighbors.
Most people had about 15 minutes to get out of their homes. My brothers family had enough time to gather their dog, 3 pictures and both vehicles. Fortunately mom, dad, both kids and dog made it out safely, however they lost everything - house, pictures, memorabilia, clothing......anything and everything of any type of value, no matter how big or small, all of it is gone. Money saved for colleges will now have to be used.

Fortunately, they have family nearby to stay with.
My name is Mark Wojcik, and I currently live in Orange County. As I mentioned above, the affected people are my brother and his family. We both grew up in Huntington Beach, CA. My brother moved to Santa Rosa approximately 20 yrs ago.
In this GOFUNDME Campaign, I am not asking for money for a new home or to replace valuables. I am asking for donations so that the family can purchase some fun things for the kids as well as some necessities, mainly being clothing. My brother just started a new job, he will need suits immediately for this. The kids, they need clothing for school, as well as some supplies for school. Mother needs clothing for work as well.
My brothers family has NEVER asked for anything from anyone and they will not even ask for help right now. They have always been as generous as they possibly can for others. Please, lets be a little generous for them knowing we can help make a positive impact in their lives. Sure, insurance will replace a little, but the memories and sentimental items can never be replaced.
I am trying to achieve a goal of 5,000.00. Any donations received up to this amount will go straight to this family. For every 500.00 over the goal of 5,000.00, we will donate 250.00 of that to a charity of this families choice.
The funds in this campaign will be handled by myself, Mark Wojcik. I will begin withdrawing funds around the 20 day mark and send as check to Greg and his family.
There is not much that I can do alone for them, but together we can all help in a BIG way.
If you decide not to donate to this campaign, please at least think about donating to local charities and/or shelters in the Santa Rosa area. There are a lot of families in the same situation that need help.
No matter what, please at least forward this message to whomever you can.
