TBS Road to Memphis Fundraiser!
Each year the Triangle Blues Society (TBS) holds a blues "Challenge," where local blues musicians compete. The winners go to the International Blues Challenge (IBC) in Memphis, TN to then compete at the largest gathering of blues musicians in the world.
This year the winners are:
Band - Blues Hammer
Solo/Duo - Jason Damico
Travel, food and lodging for this almost-week-long event for 7 musicians, adds up. They often have to take a week away from work and families, so TBS tries to do as much as we can to defer their financial challenges.
Here is what we are looking for to help cover the musicians expenses - $4,000
Travel...... about $1,000
Lodging.... about $2,000
Food..... (over rated)
Let's get these talented musicians "on the right track" by contributing to the TBS "Road to Memphis" campaign and giving them the opportunity to experience what may prove to be one of the greatest music experiences of their careers!

*All personal performances to be arranged between the donor and performer, within pre-agreed confines.
