Trevor's Skydive for COATS

I FINALLY MADE IT !!

After 2 postponements, one due to Covid-19 and the other due to the weather I finally achieved my long-standing ambition of doing a skydive. I leapt out of the plane at 13,000 feet over Oxfordshire and floated gently back to earth all in one piece.

I'm raising money in aid of COATS (Crowthorne Old Age to Teen Society) and every donation will help.

I am new to the  Crowthorne area having moved here after 20 years in Cyprus.  Keen to make a contribution to my new community I have decided, at the age of 84, to take part in a tandem skydive to raise money for this great local facility.

The aim of the COATS charity is to improve the well-being of older people who live in or near Crowthorne, Berkshire UK. The COATS Centre for senior citizens provides companionship, freshly cooked meals, activities and entertainments each week day between 10 am and 4 pm. A minibus service is provided in Crowthorne to transport less mobile Visitors to and from the Centre. T he COATS Centre is currently closed due to Covid-19 but the Trustees and staff are working hard to plan and prepare for re-opening soon with suitable Covid-19 measures in place.
