Treatment for Narry
3 year old Narry Milan Berry, from Kingston Jamaica was admitted to Bustamante hospital for children on April 13th 2017. He was soon after diagnosed with Stage 3 Wilms Tumor, a form of Kidney cancer that commonly afflicts children. Although the hospital is noted to be a leading center for medical treatment in the Caribbean, the facility is not currently optimally suited for his specific diagnoses. After weeks of applying to any foundation or facility that we could apply for to get treatment, he was finally approved by the medical team at Sick Kids hospital, in Toronto, Canada. They are willing to provide free surgery and follow up treatment for Narry, as long as we can raise the money to support his trip. Despite the pain he endures daily, young Narry somehow still seeks to enjoy the things that kids enjoy, like ice cream, and hugs from his mommy and daddy. His parents, family, and loved ones are all standing up to fight the fight along with him, and bring him back to his healthy self again. Please join us, with your prayers, meditations, love and financial support, and fight with us to grant him his best chance at healing.
GOAL:
To provide financial support to baby Narry and his mother to get to Canada, receive treatment over the course of 8 weeks at Sick Kids hospital in Toronto, and fly them back home, so Narry can return to his normal life as a happy, healthy kid.
SPECIFICATIONS
To make this trip possible, we will need to financial support to support the following requirements. Sick kids projects 8 weeks of treatment in Toronto at their facility will hopefully cure Narry. Please note, to obtain a Medical Visa to go to Canada, Narry and his mother will need to show proof they have all of these requirements in order:
Passports for mother and child to travel.
Roundtrip flights from Kingston to Toronto for mother and child.
Medical Insurance for mother for the duration of her trip.
Transportation/food/necessities for well being (including preparation for the fall season) for the duration of 8 weeks.
Visa processing.
Aftercare is also a concern. We are currently unaware of the required needs of aftercare, but will post depending on the effectiveness of the treatment.
