My name is Sofia Chacon and I want to tell Grace's story...

I have known Grace for over 20 years, and people often tell a story with "It all started with" I am not going to do that. You see Grace and I have had our own share of health issues and even though I am persevering through mine and have multiple days that I feel good, Grace does not.  The reality of Lyme Disease is that it plagues you, it gives you multiple systemic symptoms and you constantly feel pain, sick, weak and chronic fatigue! Everyday is different.

A humanitarian, animal lover and rescuer, Grace lived a very active life in San Gabriel Valley. Always helping the homeless, rescuing animals and dancing were some of the things she was so passionate about.

Working for the courts 15 years and saving lives was a normal routine. It was her life and it was a good one.

Feeling extremely tired was normal right? I mean after 8 hours at work, you are suppose to feel tired! But Grace started feeling debilitating pain and her symptoms worsened. Her vision was blurry and felt like there was something constantly inside. She had brain fog and chronic fatigue, her arms, shoulders, hands, legs, knees and feet ached and were spastic. She dealt with tremors throughout her body, especially at night, she would wake up in a cold sweat shaking. It almost happened overnight that her life was turned upside down. Getting up at 5:00 a.m. to go to work was a challenge and hiding it from everyone was even harder.

Getting the diagnosis that it was Lyme Disease was the end, or was it? I guess for some people it can be, but Grace started doing research, enrolled in a Lyme Support Group and studied the disease inside and out. With every ounce of energy she did what she could do to get around. Living life was a huge challenge.

Grace never stopped praying and has always kept her faith in getting the treatment she need to heal. Through research and talking to a friend who has drastically improved from Lyme Disease, told us about Rife Treatment, certain supplements and doing IV therapy, and how it's really helped him to heal from a lot of the ailments. This could lead to Grace getting her legs back and the life she once knew.

Unfortunately non of this takes Grace's insurance and she will have to come out of pocket for all expenses.

We are asking our loved ones for their help. (and if you know Grace she never asks for help) If that means saying a prayer for Grace or making a donation, we ar very thankful for the support of our friends and family
