Travon trains at The Joffrey Ballet

My name is Travon Williams. I am currently attending the Chicago High School for the Arts, where I am in the highest level of dance, Pro-Focus Ballet. This year, I auditioned and was accepted to The Joffrey Ballet of Chicago's Advanced summer intensive. I started this GoFundMe, so that I can raise some extra money to help pay the tuition and attend this prestigious program.

I really love dancing. For me, it's a place to escape the crulties of the world. I take multiple dance classes everyday, at ChiArts, as well as Ballet Austin , Deeply Rooted,Joffrey Community Engagement Strobel Program, and Debbie Allen dance intensive to better my technique. My hope is that, by attending The Joffrey Ballet summer program, I will be able to continue to improve upon my technique and gain more versatility as a dancer. This summer program would offer me intense and disciplined training in ballet, contemporary dance, partnering and more.
