On July 23, 2011 a vibrant, world traveling, life of the party, loving mother and grandmother was nearly taken from her family and the extensive group of friends that knew and loved her.
Patricia (Patty) Wise was vacationing in Florida when the unthinkable happened.
She accepted a ride on an all terrain vehicle (ATV) and the driver lost control and crashed.
In an instant Patty’s life was forever changed. Patty struck her head in the crash.
The resulting swelling in her brain nearly killed her. A portion of her skull needed to be removed in order to keep her alive.
For months, Patty’s condition was so tenuous that it wasn’t even possible to transport her back to her home and loved ones in New York.
There were good days and there were some very bad days, but slowly Patty fought her way back from the brink.
Eventually Patty stabilized to the point that a journey home was possible.
Patty has required round the clock supervision and care ever since.
We have started this campaign to try and build Patty her own home next to her daughter Heather’s home.
It is also to help defray the mounting legal fees that have resulted from Heather’s tireless and endless pursuit to see that Patty is given the very highest level of love, care and rehabilitation that can be given to anyone.
Please help us, her family, to give Patty her own home and a chance for as much personal growth, healing and love as the Lord will bless her with the time to enjoy!
