Help me pay for training for a rescued shelter dog

Ever since my old dog died, almost 2 years ago, I have been hoping to get a shepherd, and my mom will only adopt rescue animals.
Two weeks ago, my mom found this amazing dog at the Teton County animal shelter.
They told us that she was found in the wild, and didn't know how long she lived alone, and she was extremely skinny.
But it didn't stop us from adopting her, because she was so pretty, sweet, and smart, I knew she was perfect for me. I also knew she could be great for Search and Rescue or K-9 training or some other type of service, because i have really been wanting a dog that could train to be a work dog.
Now that some time has passed, and we have had friends and family over to our house, we have found out that she is extremely protective, and goes kind of nuts when someone gets too close to me. She is great with basic obedience training but is easily distracted. We have renamed her from Sophie to Jett my mom likes to call her Jett the gentle jedi. I am already so attached to her and I love her so much.
We are trying to train it out of her so she can continue to stay with us but we think she needs professional help. I'm raising money to help pay for training my very protective dog. I was initially saving up for a new mountain bike but I am willing to give the bike up for our amazing dog. But if we can't train her as soon as possible she might have to go back to the shelter or to a different owner because she is not suitable for our social lifestyle.
