Traci's Healing Fund

Our bubbly little powerhouse, pied-piper of children, vocalist, and entrepreneur Traci Nevins Green can use our support! This past December 2017, after emergency surgery it was discovered she had MMMT (Malignant Mixed Müllerian Tumor or carcinosarcoma), an aggressive and rare ovarian cancer. On January 2nd, Traci had open surgery and cancer was found on her colon, appendix and reproductive organs. (Stage 3C) The plan is to move as quickly as possible and start 6 months of chemotherapy, just as soon as she recovers from the surgery.
Since 2015 she has also been battling Transverse Myelitis, a serious auto-immune disease which affects the optic nerve and spine. After hospital stays, home care, chemo like treatments, and all through recovery, Traci has been performing, teaching music and running her Children’s Toy shop.
We are hoping to fund Traci's “healing needs" wish list. This list may include a weekly organic food box delivery, in home health care and food prep, a juice blend made especially for Traci, possibly a trip to The Cancer Center of America and other alternative treatments. The costs and length of time required is unknown at this point. Our friends, Traci and her husband David Green, are very active members of the Los Angeles music community, performing “Folk music for families” as members of the popular L.A. children’s band the "The Hollow Trees". Traci spends her days caring for their active son, Nevin, and running “The Green Bean”, her children's toy/resale shop located in Eagle Rock, CA. On top of that Traci was doing story-times, Family song circles, volunteering at Nevin’s grade school as kindergarten music teacher, and organizing other family-oriented fun activities. Traci gives every ounce of her incredible energy to raising her son and giving back to the community for the entertainment, enrichment, and education of children. We want to give back to her. We are hoping to collect enough donations to fund Traci's healing treatments.
