Tory Barrett Memorial Fund

Friends of the Barrett family created this fund with a goal of providing financial assistance for funeral costs in the wake of their most unimaginable tragedy.

At a young age, Tory Barrett was a selfless young woman, who gave up her summers taking care of all the children in the neighborhood at no charge. In addition to her love for humanity, Tory had a passion for the game of basketball. Tory excelled not only on the basketball court, but also in the classroom as she worked towards earning her bachelors degree in nursing.

It is our hope that we are able to reach, if not exceed, the goal of $22,000-$1,000 for each year of her beautiful life.

Anyone who has been blessed enough to have met Tory knows that her heart is as big as her smile. At a very young age she has touched the lives of everyone in the community. Together we can give back to Tory and the Barrett family during this time of tragedy.

A donation to this fund is more than a mere jesture. It is a way to genuinly impact the family of a beautiful young woman who has given up so much of her young life for the good of others. We cannot take the pain away from the Barrett family, but together we can make a difference.

Any donation amount would be very much appreciated- $5, $10 , $15, $20, $50, $100, $500, etc. Every dollar counts. Any balance remaining after the price of the funeral expenses will be put towards the college tuition of Tory's sister, Abbie Barrett.

Lord God, source and destiny of our lives, in your saving providence You gave us Tory to grow in wisdom, age, and grace. Now You have called her to Yourself. We grieve over the loss of one so young and struggle to understand Your purpose. Draw her to Yourself and give her full stature in Christ. May she stand with all the angels and saints, who know Your love and praise Your saving will.
