Tony Sr.'s medical fund and bills

My father, Tony West Sr., had a heart attack on Wednesday, September 19th which resulted in the need for emergency open heart surgery on Friday, September 21st.  He underwent an aortic valve replacement and a single bypass.  The surgery went well and he is healing nicely now, but he's facing a minimum recovery period of 6-8 weeks.

Prior to his heart attack, my father was working as a substitute teacher for Fulton County Schools, but obviously he will not be able to return to work again for a minmum of 2 months, possibly the remainder of the year.  My father is a man who has always gone above and beyond to ensure the comfort and care of his entire family, and the last thing I want right now is for him to experience any stress or anxiety about how he is going to pay for home expenses and hospital bills until he can return to work.  I am hoping that reaching out to our community, friends and family will help alleviate some of the financial burden he will face in the coming months.
