Helping Tony Jefferson's Family

Donation protected
Thousands have been touched and impacted by the unselfish love and ministry of praise and worship by Minister Anthony Jefferson, who suddenly died on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, leaving behind his loving wife and eight children.

Better known by many as Brother Tony, since the age of 19, he has faithfully served the Lord in many ministerial capacities in his church, and throughout the Washington DC area. His love for God was evident in his dedicated service to his calling, his wife and children, and the church. For over 34 years, he has worked at the church as the Minister of Music, teacher, maintenance supervisor, and most recently served as the Bible College Dean.

As one member reflected, Brother Tony touched many lives: “When I think of Brother Tony, as I call him, I think of learning to praise and worship. I remember learning to usher in the presence of God and tuning out the cares of this world.  I can never repay him for pouring his revelation of worship into my life.  I want to give back to him for teaching me to worship the Lord, for teaching me the difference in praise and worship, and for sacrificing countless Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. I’m sure many others have similar memories of how Brother Tony’s ministry has changed their lives.  Won't you join me in helping Brother Tony's family.”

His wife of 30 years, Donna, works as one of this nation’s best kindergarten teachers for the church’s academic day school. However, teachers are grossly underpaid and her husband was the main financial provider for the family. Brother Tony’s sudden passing leaves the family in need of your financial assistance. They need your help! Please pray and ask God how much you should donate to the Jefferson family*.

Thank you! Your generosity is greatly appreciated!

“Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” (Luke 6:38)
