Hello to all of our family and friends,
As many of you know, our dad Tom Powszok was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma, which is a form of Pancreatic Cancer on Monday, August 7, 2017.
Due to an infection he has been in and out of the hospital since August 1st. His infection needs to clear before we can begin his treatment for the Pancreatic Cancer which is still unclear as far as Chemo, Radiation, and/or Surgery.
He has not been able to return to work since first going into the hospital on August 1st. This year his job did not offer Short/Long Term Disability, therefore while being off work he has not been able to bring in any income.
We're asking for a little bit of support to relieve the financial burden of this situation. We want him to be able to focus on fighting this cancer and not the stress and worry of medical expenses, bills, etc.
We appreciate any contribution you're able to give, no matter how big or small. If you can't contribute, you can continue to pray for Tom, send him messages of encouragement, and send love to the family.
We want to thank everyone so far who have sent prayers, messages, phone calls, cards, meals, and flowers. We have received an overwhelming amount of support and we are very grateful. Tom has been blown away by these acts of kindness and it's helping him get through each day.
