Funeral Services for Tom Kelly

It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the death of a father, a brother, and the most selfless individual, Tom Kelly. He passed away on Tuesday, May 23rd. He was initially admitted to a hospital for a herniated disk and then sent to a physical therapy center to rehabilitate. During his stay at the center, he got a severe UTI that somehow went unnoticed and untreated. This led to multiple other conditions that contributed to his death, which came as a shock to the Kelly family. Throughout his life, he inspired his children to step out of their comfort zones and reach for the stars. He was a humanitarian and a great role model for everyone who he came in contact with. He was an active and giving individual, whether speaking about his daily hikes or the time he spent volunteering at homeless shelters. He was very involved in his children’s lives, including being a participant in Girl Scouts meetings for his 2 daughters Carissa and Natilie. He was very supportive of his sons’ involvement in sports. Not only does Nick have fond memories coaching alongside his dad for a year, but he also has memories of having Tom as a coach. No matter the amount of words we can write on this page, it will never be enough to give his life justice.

I am Jessica, Nick’s girlfriend, speaking on behalf of the Kelly family. I would love for all of you to help me raise money for this unexpected loss.  Although I spent a lot of time with Tom, I was never able to thank him for accepting me as part of his family. This is my way to show gratitude and to bring peace to the family.
