Tom Bruce medical bills

My wonderful father, Tom Bruce has been struggling with diabetes and other related health problems, including kidney failure, congestive heart failure, and a leg amputation. Over the course of this last year my father has been in and out of the hospital and rehabilitation centers. It has been an agonizing process of my Dad taking two steps forward, and then have another health complication, and taking three steps back....over and over again.  Part of the reason my Dad has been unable to make a full recovery is that we are forced to use rehabilitation centers that will accept medicare, and to say that the quality of care is poor is an understatement.  We would dearly love to place my father in the care of a higher quality rehabilitation center / nursing facility that can address both his diabetic and heart/kidney problems, as well as give him expert physical therapy, so that he might one day be able to walk on his prosthetic leg.  My father is once again in the hospital, and he will likely be discharged again to another low quality rehabilitation center, and the cycle of two steps forward, three steps back is likely to continue until my father's body just gives out.  It is imperative to his health that he receive better treatment as soon as possible. It is therefore urgent that we rally together and support Tom Bruce so that he may have a fighting chance at quality care and recovery. In addition, medical bills not covered by medicare and medicaid are adding up, and my parents, who have also fallen on hard times financially over the last several years, are unable to pay the medical bills, which threaten to bankrupt them.
