Todd's Team - Kicking Cancer's A$$

Donation protected

Friends, it is with a heavy heart that I share of my dear brother Todd's recent diagnosis of stage 3 colorectal cancer. Anyone who knows Todd knows what a vibrant, energetic, outgoing, giving, generous, supportive, athletic, and hilarious guy Todd is! Throughout Todd's 50 years he has been known as an awesome son, brother, husband, father, employee, coach, hockey player, angler, golfer (ok, some may argue this one, lol), hunter, and FRIEND to so many of us.  Now it is time to show Todd how much we value and appreciate his many contributions to all of us over the years. He needs us to rally around help him so he can be the STRONGEST he can possibly be as he takes on this fight!  We all want Todd fighting the 'battle fish'.. not this ugly demon! And he needs our help to fund medications, treatments, fuel, parking, etc, and to help him keep his boat afloat while he is off work and needing Monica to take days off to drive him to appointments and help him through these challenging days and nights of chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

I am sure I don't need to tell any of Todd's friends how difficult it is for him to tell you this news, never mind to reach out to you to ask for your love, hope, belief, and financial support. Todd has always been a strong and independent man. Such a hard-worker!  Being the younger sister I have watched him my entire life; from the day he loaded up that truck with Red and headed up to Faro I have been proud of my brother as he forges his path! Got himself his plumbing ticket, fell in love with the woman of his dreams and mother of his beautiful children; Rylie and Tait, and has been a hardworking, reliable, dependable father, husband, coach, and role model to so many. He loves and he loves hard! And he asks for NOTHING. Friends, I come to you today, with a heart full of pride for my big brother, and my hand open asking please, help my brother and his family and show them some love and support and uplifting encouragement. Give what you can from your bank account and even more from your heart. <3 Please at the very least SHARE this far and wide with as many people as you can!

I know that Todd has created himself one helluva terrific team of friends and now it's time for us all to rally around him and give him our love and support. I am sure that everyone who knows Todd and is reading this has at least one good/positive/happy story of him, of how he has impacted your life, and now is the time to share it here. At the very least we can make his heart feel better!

I will do my best to keep you all updated.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, for being a friend to my brother and our family, and for contributing in any way you feel is best.

With love and gratitude,

Todd's Little Sister, Kari (Wold) Hodgson,
along with Mom Rose Wold and Richard Younghans.

PS. As I write this Todd's big concern is being able to go outside in the cold (triggering horrific side effects) to get his finger prints done for his criminal record check because there are kids who need him to coach them! Always giving of himself. Always.
... on a side-note, could one of his neighbor's please take his garbage out to the curb for him on a weekly? That didn't go well this morning.
