Hey Its Toby & Molly!

We are two SUPER loving pups who were dumped & left to fend for ourselves along the harsh streets of Rio Grande Valley, Texas. It’s a pretty rough place for abandoned dogs like us.. Fortunately, we have been rescued, and are awaiting our best lives. Unfortunately, we were tested HW+. Though this isn’t the absolute ideal, you don’t need to feel too bad for us just yet, because heartworms are actually treatable & lucky for us.. we already have fosters/adopters who are willing, & able to give us HW+ dogs the safe haven we deserve!! If you know anything about HW+ dogs, you know we’re usually over looked.. Even though it’s far from a d3ath sentence, & generally very misunderstood. So, for us to be chosen.. is one in a million for us :)

On top of needing extra care & TLC.. In some cases, HW+ treatment can also be very very very expensive, and often times a contributor to why most people stray away. Thankfully, some vets provide this treatment for a lower cost than others, which is what we have access to!

That being said.. Our nice lady fosters & adopters are holding an awesome fundraiser you just wont believe, (you can find more info on the @savemetexas Instagram / Facebook page) But, we also understand there are a few of our supporters and/or out of towners who just want to donate, instead of joining in on the local activity (which isn’t permitted on this site.) this GoFundMe is strictly for you!

However you choose to support, we truly do thank you In advance. Every single penny will go toward ongoing HW+ treatment for Molly, spay/neuter for Toby as well as HW+ treatment start up & 6 months of preventatives (HOLY MOLY THATS A GOOD DEAL) & with that.. We will be able to travel to our new homes and live out our best possible lives as *former* street dogs.
