Timothy DeFilipp Medical Expenses

UPDATE 3/31/14: Dad has been fighting for the last ten months. He has undergone whole brain radiation and 6 cycles of first line chemotherapy, which he completed in December, followed by four cycles of maintenance chemo. While initial scans showed disease stability, his latest scan the beginning of March showed a growing spot back on his brain and growth to the main lung tumor. Dad will now undergo a radio surgery procedure to zap the brain met on April 3 and will begin his second line of chemotherapy April 8. We will also be seeking an opinion from Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL in May. Thanks to everyone for your ongoing support, prayers and donations. 10/13: My Dad is battling for his life and fighting stage IV non small cell lung cancer (adenocarcinoma) with brain mets. Diagnosed in June 2013, he continues to receive ongoing treatment. He had an excellent response to whole brain radiation (completed mid July) and now has no detectable brain lesions!! Fueled by the amazing scan results, he is now receiving chemotherapy to help attack the cancer in his chest. With mounting medical expenses and the inability to work regularly, I am trying to raise money to help him get by until his disability kicks in next year (January 2014). My Dad is an amazing guy and has spent his life dedicated to giving those he loves everything he could. Now, he needs your help! Please consider donating to this cause.
