Tim's Medical Fund

Over the last few months, my dear friend Tim has been in and out of hospital dealing with an illness that came on suddenly and seemed to be an issue with his bile duct.  However, after many tests and a lengthy hospital stay, Tim has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.  This has been devastaing to his family, his fiancée Debra, and to all of us, his friends.  

Tim will require treatment that will take him out of state and the medication he requires is very costly.  He is unable to work, and as an independent contractor has no assistance to replace his lost income.  Debra left her home state about three years ago to move in with Tim, so is far from her own support system, and she will be looking after him full time as well as getting him to and from treatment.  Debra has her own small business selling beautiful hand crafted items, however this doesn't come close to meeting their financial needs for Tim's treatment.  

The funds raised will help Tim cover his medical expenses, travel for treatment, and day to day expenses. 

Tim's health has been rapidly declining, so the need for funds is urgent.  For those of you who know Tim like I do, you know that he is the best kind of friend anyone could ask for and is always there when you need him... no matter what.  

If you can find it in your heart to make a donation and help Tim and Debra through this incredibly difficult time, we would be eternally grateful as this would allow them to focus on what is really important right now and not have to spend their days worried about money.
