Update as of 04/23/2025:

Due to the injury and the damage of the nerves, I have not been able to completely empty my bladder. When I do try to empty my bladder, I have to push so hard I'm straining on my rectum as well. I went and seen a Urologist today and they put me on medication to help relax the bladder neck so hopefully I dont have to strain so much. At my appointment they did a urine screen and a pelvic examine. The urine screen was abnormal but abnormal in the way of not having a UTI. I did get my lab results back and my urine showed abnormal wbc and rbc (white and red blood cells) I also was referred to a gynecologist due the doctor finding a cyst. Further testing will be done. Due to the meds unfortunately I will be incompetent again. I will be also have a colonoscopy and endoscopy for further testing on that situation as well. I can't begin to tell people how much I am struggling mentally! I have gained so much weight recently due to all of this. I dont like to go out much expect for work. I was told work will be closing as of May 31st. Trying to find a job that dont think im a liability has become very difficult. I have fillled out multiple applications but not having much success. Please help me and my family and keep the prayers coming!!

Thank you all im so grateful for all the donations, prayers and check-ins! Unfortunately, my symptoms/healing has gone backwards. I have developed a huge fluid luke bump on my incision and lost feeling down my left leg! I do go see the doctor on Tuesday and can use many prayers!! I went out yesterday and even though it was a short period out, im struggling because im dragging my left leg and sometimes causes minor tripping over it. At this time im still unable to work and bills are racking up for another month. Thank you for the donations again and please please share this as much as you can!!

**UPDATE**: At this time, I am not able to bend and twist/turn. Due to failure of feeling my bladder/bowel, I have extra expenses like depends, pads, shucks. Again I appreciate everyones help and hope to one day be able to help others in need!!

My name is Tiffany. On January 11th, 2024, I had caught a potential fall that led to a ripple effect of incidents. I was going down some stairs and at the last step the floor had a little unlevelness. My foot twisted and I almost fell but was able to catch myself with the door. I was really sore the rest of the evening, however; when i went to bed everything changed. I went to get out of bed to use the bathroom and realized i couldn't stand nor walk due to extensive pain. I army-crawled out to get my daughter and her boyfriend for help. It ended up resulting in an ambulance ride to Ira Hospital in Bath. The hospital did cat scan and xray and didnt find anything. They sent me home with a lidocaine patch and gave me a shot of toradol and valium. I was able to walk but was in extreme pain still. After falling asleep for a few hours, I woke up to my dog had passed away. My dog who was the best campionship I could have ever gotten. It took a few hours but my family and I were able to get her to the vet to be cremated. With all the incidents, we decided to all nap. When I awoke from my nap, I went to stand up and go use the bathroom but my bladder just emptied itself. I couldn't feel it besides it running down my legs. I cleaned myself up and realized I was completely numb in my bowel and bladder area. I went to Corning er, as my bladder kept emptying itself and I couldn't feel it. Corning hospital did an mri which was very painful for my back but still had nothing but numbness in my area. The doctor came in and stated he was transporting me to Sayre PA Guthrie so a neurosurgeon could look me over. When i arrived there, the neurosurgeon and anesthesia doctors we there and started to explain to me that i needed emergency surgery as my herniated disk in my L5 S1 has slipped out and was resting on the sumbar nerve sac. That was the reasoning for loss control of bladder and bowel functions. I wasnt even in the hospital for 10 mins and I was in the operating room. When i awoke the doctor told me she extracted 3 big pieces of my disk off the nerves. Come to find out the doctor states im lucky to even be walking again. I still however have no feeling in my bowel/bladder area. The doctor confirmed that its going to depend on the nerves and the regrowth of them when and if i will ever get feeling back. Not even a week after all this, I started struggling with constipation issues. I have always had this issue but now i cant feel the area so it makes things worse. With many trips to the er in Bath and Sayre, PA, i am not able to work. I have 3 kids and im a single mom who at this time cannot work. With gas costs to get to doc appointments, bills racking up and not being able to work, I am reaching out for help. I dont like to ask for help but I've literally emptied my savings and scrapped my change. My daughter has helped and even emptied her account as well. Im falling behind and need a little help. If you can't help, just sharing this would help as well.
