Doby/Smith Kids Support Fund

Donation protected
Tiffany Doby died on November 14, 2017 when she was involved in a head on collision in Columbus, Ohio. She was a single mom who worked hard to support her kids. The morning she died, she had just dropped her kids off at school and was moving all of their belongings to a new apartment. She left behind 4 wonderful children. Milani, 11, is a math wiz who plays AAU basketball, track and field, and is quarterback for a recreational football team.  She loves playing video games in her down moments and her favorite color is teal. Jordan, 11, is also a math mastermind and plays AAU basketball and plays recreational football. He loves playing bingo and his favorite color is blue. Mekhi,13, has a love for reading. He also plays AAU basketball and loves playing all kinds of outdoor sports and his favorite color is green. Jalen, who is about to turn 16, plays high school basketball and AAU basketball.  He has a keen interest in business management that he hopes to pursue in college and enjoys reading about things he does not know about. All of these kids are honor roll students and athletes, with futures filled with endless possibilities.
The kids are now living with their dad, Miles Smith, but their clothes were destroyed in the car wreck and they will need a place large enough for 5, which also means utilities and groceries for 5. Since Tiffany was their sole financial provider, we want to set these kids up with a fund that their dad can use to help pay for housing, utilities, clothes, food, sports fees and equipment, school related fees, grievance counseling, and all those things that go into raising kids. Jalen wants to go to college and it would be great if we could raise enough for Miles to tuck some away for tuition.
It takes a village to raise kids and these kids just had their biggest advocate taken away from them so tragically and untimely. We must be their protectors and providers now. There's no greater gift you can give than the promise of a better day and a better future for kids who have experienced a loss of this magnitude. Tiffany's sister, Felicia Brandon, will be the beneficiary and the monies collected will be placed into an account that can be drawn from when needed for necessities. Thank you for your support and dedication to helping these kids heal and move forward and honoring the woman who gave all of her heart and soul to these 4 kids.
