Keeping our No Kill Shelter OPEN!

Donation protected
As most of Thor's followers know my rescue was hit by Panleukopia..a deadly virus that sadly took the lives of 23 of our babies and left many others remaining (30 plus) with rhino & ringworm due to having a low immune system after the virus. All cats affected have been quarentined in separate sterile rooms. This situation has been extremely costly as it continues to be. All our furbabies need ongoing medical attention until they are 100% healthy again. Before the virus struck our shelter, many of our deserving cats were adopted or on their way to a new forever home. We need to get back on track and re-home these cats and kittens. Before disaster struck our no kill shelter, we were on the path of making a huge difference in our community, not only by giving abandonned and/or feral cats a new chance at life but by educating folks on the importance of spaying or neutering pets.
We need your help.  We DO NOT WANT TO GIVE THEM TO THE OSPCA. By donating as little as $10 to our mission, you can make a difference. We can't do it alone.

This is how our mission started.

Thor was born underneath a feed mill, which we later were told was a 'dropoff station' for abandonded cats. When our founder, Sue, first set her eyes on Thor she SAVE
just wanted to cry ,to hold him and give him love , take his pain away. She took him to the vet the next morning and was told his eyes were ruptured and infected, both would have to be removed. Knowing that others in his condition were still under the feed mill, Sue went back with humane traps and rescued the population of feral cats in desperate need of medical attention.
And so our mission was born. Until we started doing fundraisers and speaking to the public, we had no idea how widespread the problem of feral cats and other abandonned animals was in our community. Not only did Sue want to impact the lives of her furrball friends but she wanted to put a spot light on the urgency of the matter.
Thor, is now a happy loving cat. He's mischievous at times and has totally adapted to having only one eye. Yes, in the end...the vet was able to save his right eye. He doesn't know he's the inspiration behind our mission!
