Greetings Friends! We have exciting news!
The surviving members of The Blues Band have generously compiled an entire CD of their highly-acclaimed Thirsties recordings from 1976 and offered it to be used to support our efforts. There are very high quality recordings of a truly legendary band's historic performance. It is truly an honor be a part of the public release of these recordings. More to come on that, but MUCH thanks to Carroll and Vicki Barrett and Harold Floyd for this VERY generous show of support! Looking forward to a great time this year!
We're looking at a May date and working out the details. An announcement will be made very soon.
Thirsties was a great music venue. Lots of musical acts who played there went on to become household names. A lot of others, though less well-known have left and continue to leave considerable musical legacies as pioneering legends in rock, folk, coutry, blues, bluegrass, reggae and other music genres.
