<div>Eens in de vier jaar wordt de World Scout Jamboree ergens in de wereld gehouden. In 2027 is dat bij Gdańsk in Polen. Er komen dan 40.000 scouts (en 10.000 vrijwilligers) bij elkaar uit 160 landen.

<div>Dit is een kans die ik eenmaal in m'n leven krijg, alleen tussen de 14 jaar en 17 jaar mag je er naartoe, dus 2027 is mijn enige optie. Daar moet ik dus bij zijn!

<div>Ik ben in de zomer van 2027 nét 14. En dat is een beetje pech: de meeste scouts van 15-17 werken zelf hun Jamboree voor een groot deel bij elkaar.

<div>Ik moet het deelnemersbedrag van mijn 12e tot mijn 14e bij elkaar sprokkelen. Waarvan het grootste deel al voor komende zomer, dus voordat ik 13 ben.

<div>Natuurlijk betaalt m'n moeder een deel van dit avontuur. Maar niet alles.  Vandaar deze crowdfunding om (een deel van) de 3.999 euro* bij elkaar te krijgen.

<div>Dit is een flink bedrag, maar de hoogte wordt bepaald op basis van het BNP van een land. Zodat ook arme landen relatief betaalbaar kinderen kunnen afvaardigen, inclusief intercontinentaal vervoer, indien van toepassing.
