Nathaniel P. Booth Scholarship

On August 28th, Nate P. Booth, lost his eight month battle to Pancreatic Cancer. In his memory, our family is creating The Nathaniel P. Booth Scholarship Fund. The scholarship, will go directly to graduates of Harlan Community High School (HCHS), who are pursuing their post secondary degree in the arts, creative writing or theater.
Nate, was an alumni of HCHS and some of his fondest memories, were his times in high school and college. As he was nearing the end of his life, Nate's last wish and dream, was to give back to his community and help young students. Especially those who may have limited resources to pursue a college degree in the arts. Nate had a passion for writing and may have pursued his dreams, if he had the resources and encouragement to do so in high school. Instead, he became a successful dentist, who based his practice in helping kids. After twenty years in his practice, he decided to make a major career shift and went into motivational coaching and worked with Tony Robbins.
Nate, was a talented, charismatic man, who impacted the lives of thousands of people. Through his work, as an inspirational speaker and motivational coach, he worked tirelessly to help people, pursue their dreams of a meaningful life. He was a champion of the "underdog" and always made people feel like anything is possible. The world lost a great treasure and we will be forever grateful for the legacy he left behind. Nate is survived by his three children, Chris, Emily and Belinda, their spouses Maria and Almichael, and two grandchildren, Alexandria and Jack
