The Infamous T follows Jonathon, a queer youth experiencing homelessness, as he transitions to stable housing and redefines family & home through the GLBT Host Home Program.
The Infamous T will have it's World Premiere at Frameline37: San Francisco International LGBT Film Festival. It will screen at the Victoria Theatre on June 22, 2013 @ 3:30pm.
We are so excited and proud that Jonathon's powerful story that shines a light on youth homelessness, queer family, and midwestern-style community solidarity will have a home at the oldest and largest LGBT film exhibition event in the world.
Jonathon, Pandora (Jonathon's close friend featured in the film) and director Melissa NEED to be at this premiere. It is vital that along with the film, goes these three -- for Jonathon and Pandora to experience their story being shared in this venue, for Melissa to represent the film to potential partners in bringing the film to a larger audience, and for us all to be present for a Q&A.
Here's the thing -- it is really expensive to purchase flights, rent hotel rooms, and buy food in San Francisco. As two unemployed youth and one indie filmmaker who has made this film as a labor of love without financial compensation, we need your support to make this happen!!!
Please consider chipping in to help us make it to Frameline -- It takes a great deal of courage for Jonathon and Pandora to participate in documentary that is so personal, and these two deserve to be at the World Premiere. It takes an enormous amount of work and dedication to make a film like The Infamous T and the opportunity for Melissa to network with people who can help distribute the film in a real way is invaluable.
