The Dad Book seeks to provide an unparalleled look into the lives of 50 Dads from 50 States to help encourage the next generation of influential fathers.
My dad has always been the person I look up to the most and The Dad Book’s goal is to help share the stories and insights of deserving dads from across the United States.
The Dad Book will be broken into 3 distinct parts:
20 dads will teach us how-tos every dad should know, including how-to change a spare tire and how-to barbecue.
10 dads will teach us quirky how-tos, including how-to surf and how-to set up the perfect tea party.
And finally 20 dads with a unique aspect on fatherhood will share their story, including the same-sex couple raising a child and the single mom raising a family on her own.
The end of the book will have a set number of pages left blank so that a father can write in their own advice to be passed on from father to child, child to grandchild, so on and so forth. In this way, becoming a truly generational book.
While traveling to all 50 States, I will be living out of the back of a renovated bus. To hear and see all of the adventures along the way, visit The Dad Book Blog and Instagram Page.
Donations of any kind are being collected to help cover the cost of traveling to these 50 Dads from 50 States. I've crunched the numbers and estimate the cost of gas for a trip like this will come in around $10,000.
