When confronted with death, the last thing you think about is how are the kids going to deal with loss? How as a mother/father/sister/brother will I tell and deal with my feelings and their feelings? The question is unfortunately too common. Reality, as an adult is hard enough. Recently watching my sons friend loose his mother tragically and this sweet boy who laughed and played...now is struggling dealing with her death; and has become quiet and cant enjoy the simple kid things to do. There is no words! Luckily, I know of a place where they help kids and their families deal with loss. The Cooper House. GREAT FOUNDATION! But currently needing a new place for the kids to come and have activities...The place is up for sale!
