Hi guys! Most of you are familiar with the humanitarian project I have been serving for 2 years now in Brazil. Our volunteer team of medics, psychologists, musicians, artists, lawyers and volunteers have continued THE ANONYMOUS HEART PROJECT in BRAZIL for our second year now. But we cannot do what we do without the kindness and generousity of friends and family! You can support ongoing Humanitarian Aid in third-world parts of Brazil by sponsoring one of our many needs!
The 2014 World Cup devastated parts of Brazil. Over 100,00 Families were forced into homelessness as FIFA seized their homes to build stadiums. Tent cities flood the outter parts of the cities. Endless streams of children scavenge the streets for food. Kids that haven't eaten or bathed in a week or more. I saw a child fighting off chickens for dumpster scraps on many occasions. Brazil has become accustomed to this kind of poverty. I turned out my pockets to feed homeless kids until my pockets and pantry were empty, it's an epedemic the is overwhelming to witness.
Many parts of Brazil are heartbreaking. Resources for healthcare, education, food & water are limited to none. It's a struggle for survival- I know, I lived it first hand. It's a different kind of reality. After experiencing tropical illnesses and going weeks without water, the situation is not something I could wish for another. Many natives go longer during the 5-month drought season without resources. This is one of many opportunities for kind hearts to help!
We are 100% funded by the goodwill of neighbors, family and friends in the U.S. to help provide resources like clean water, diapers, medical aid, education, and just a good neighborly hand to the community. There are many creative ways to give! Let us know how you would like to help!
