EDIT: We've completed the move and settled in, and the only thing left is to finish creating and mailing everyone's Perks.

They're raising our rent again, and frankly, we can't pay.

Here is the short, short version:

We moved to Maryland for the opportunities, and we moved to Columbia for the school system... but we certainly weren't expecting the rent to keep going up while the salaries stayed the same! This last rent raise is the breaking point. We went from being "comfortable," to being "ok," to being "a few dollars behind every month," but now... this new increase is going to break us.

We have to move.

Unfortunately, moving is expensive too. And with our current rent already more than we can afford, we could sure use some help.

Naturally, I'm willing to give back for any help! So there's a special gift attached to each "level" of donation. Here's some more details:

All of the gifts will be hand-made, so it will take me a bit to fill, but I'm going to try my darndest to have ALL gifts out by January 1st, 2015.


UPDATE: After taking everything into consideration and doing a good bit of research, it's apparent that moving before November is simply not possible. We've set the date of the move between 23 November, 2014 and 7 December, 2014. While this presents a few new difficulties, it also gives us a bit more time to find a suitable, affordable place, and work out the details of the move!
