The Good Fight

The Good Fight Foundation is offering children life-changing stem cell treatments.  Austin began to lose his hair in the Fall of 2013.  By spring, 2014, he had lost all of his hair including hair on his body.  He was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata Universalis, an auto-immune condition, and began traditional medicine protocol. After 2 years and no results, we began to take a homeopathic route and diet change.  We saw improvement in his overall health and we are thankful for that but still no hair growth on his head. 
Austin, along with several children in our area, with diseases or conditions that have not responded to traditional medicine, needs to have Stem Cell Therapy.  This Stem Cell Therapy uses the patient's own stem cells obtained from their adipose tissue. As you can see in the flyer below, there are many conditions that may respond to this procedure.  Stem Cell Therapy is very expensive and not covered by insurance. Our desire is for these children, without the financial means to pay for the treatments, to have access to this procedure.  At this time, our goal is to raise enough to cover two treatments for each child. The difference these treatments will make for these kids is incomprehensible! Any parent will do whatever they can to help their child but sometimes it is financially out of their reach.
